When you open Neerby, it asks for your location so it can show you events sorted by distance — closest ones first. The distance shown on each card is how far the event is from where you are right now.
You don't need to type in your city or zip code. Just tap Allow when your browser asks for location, and Neerby does the rest.
Search bar: Type any word — an event name, venue, or neighborhood — and Neerby will instantly narrow down the list.
Categories: Use the filter chips (Music, Food & Drink, Sports, Arts, etc.) to show only the type of event you're in the mood for.
Date filters: Pick Today, Tomorrow, This Weekend, or This Week to focus on what's coming up soon.
Radius: Use the radius slider to expand or shrink how far out you want to look — from 5 miles to 100 miles.
Tap the heart icon on any event to save it. Saved events are stored on your device, so they'll still be there next time you visit — no account needed.
To see all your saved events, tap Saved Events in the navigation.
Want to share your saved events with a friend? Open Saved Events, then tap Share List. Neerby will copy a link that anyone can tap to see exactly the events you saved.
You can also use the Save Code — a short code that represents your saved list. Share the code with a friend and they can paste it in to see the same events on their device.
If you're near a city with pro sports teams, a Local Teams section will appear in the filters. Tap a team chip to instantly see only events related to that team — games, watch parties, and more.
This section appears automatically based on your location, so if you're not near a major sports city it won't show up.
Anyone can submit an event for free. Tap Submit an Event in the navigation and fill out the form. Once submitted, your event goes through a quick review and then appears on Neerby for everyone nearby to discover.
